We’re looking to provide Mass Casualty Training for PGY-2 EM residents and are partnering with local programs, but since we’re looking at virtually doing it, I thought we might expand it to the SEMP network for residents.

    Our Plan is:

Mid-December: Pharmacy Incident Command/Leadership Lecture and Tabletop Exercise

March: Repeat Tabletop Exercise and Threat Assessment Discussion

Participants are requested to complete FEMA modules IS 100, 200, 700, 800 by December as well as complete a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis for their site by the March discussion.

Let me know if you or your resident are interested in participating! We would also welcome insight/lectures/ideas for anyone else who would like to add to this experience.

Hi! I’m not a resident but a new practitioner and would find this training helpful if I could attend too.

That’s great to hear! Would love to have you. Our ED has been the biggest advocate for pharmacy being involved.
