Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

Evaluate patients presenting to the emergency department (ED) with critical conditions requiring immediate assessment and stabilization.
Select appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for patients based on their clinical presentation in the ED.
Identify signs and symptoms of physiologic instability in patients presenting to the ED to support early clinical decision-making.
